With more than 30 years’ experience in PR and strategic communications, Sarah became an associate consultant with Tandem in 2025.  

Her primary focus is helping boards to communicate with clarity and confidence, so that they can exercise their influence with greater impact.  

Formerly a PR agency CEO, Sarah brings an understanding of commercial and governance roles at board-level. Previously co-owner and director of a small business for 16 years, Sarah is currently Vice Chair of the Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum, the charity which supports the National Arboretum in its mission to protect trees and enrich lives.  

Having spent most of her career in PR agencies, Sarah’s portfolio has included global commercial enterprises, non-profits and the public sector, from professional services to the built environment. Experienced in managing complex stakeholder relationships, Sarah has led communications projects for change of ownership, digitalisation, sustainability and social value impact, product innovation, and more besides. 

Sarah was awarded an MBA from the University of Gloucestershire in 2018, focusing her research on driving innovation through effective communication.
